Hi there again!
The End Of Financial Year is upon us, and for most of us that means spending money on some fancy piece of gadgetry that we really want, but usually don't need, for the purpose of minimising tax..
So what will it be this year? An apple iPad? A flatscreen digital TV? A Hot Tub Time Machine? Whatever it is, make sure it will last a long time; personally I'm writing all this on a converted and upgraded Atari 2600 gaming console that Gavin bought in 1983. They really had awesome foresight when they built those old machines! They even have what they call a "3D Fully Interactive Holographic Gaming Experience Platform with 48MHz Duodecaphonic Sound Card Capability Enabled (3DFIHGEP48MDDPSCCE)" expansion slot on the side of the console, which nobody knows what that's for just yet, but it gives a clue as to what we can expect gaming to be like in the future, doesn't it!!
But with all this electronic entertainment to distract us, it's important to remember the experiences that really means something in life, the Human Experience! So don't forget to get out once in a while and catch some live music, live theatre, or anything that involves being energised by the excitement of the crowd around you; those are the memories that last forever!!
